2017 Aesthetica Short Film Festival, York

The BAFTA recognised Aesthetica Short Film Festival was founded in 2011 and is now an established annual event in York. This year’s festival showcased more than 400 films from emerging and established filmmakers in various venues across the city. It has now become a regular event in my calendar, and with the festival now running for five days there was ample opportunity to see some fabulous films. Here are just a few of my favourites I managed to see.
